Nestled quietly in the woods of Glenn Dale Maryland is a little hidden historical gem—the Marietta House Mansion, a historic site originally owned by a Gabriel Duvall, an associate justice of the Surpreme Court in the early 1800’s. It’s a gorgeous and quiet location for a portrait session, and it became the perfect backdrop for the images I created with this wonderful and engaging woman. Looking for some interesting personal portraits, we met up at Marietta House around the golden hour when light would be peaking through the tree canopy.
We had a great time wandering the grounds and joking as we went. The results turned out wonderfully. Check out some of these highlights from our portrait session below!
