Heather & Daniel had an intimate, cozy wedding under the warm light of The Loft at 600F in Washington DC. We arrived about 30 minutes before the ceremony started, as guests were showing up and taking their seat. The ceremony started right on time, with Heather’s grandfather graciously officiating the proceedings. After the ceremony, the guests moved upstairs for the cocktail hour while we captured family formals, and then some formals with just Heather & Daniel. It was raining outside and had already been dark for at least an hour by this time, so we weren’t able to go very far while shooting portraits. Nonetheless, we were able to create some beautiful images in the limited space we had to work with. After we finished with the formals, we all headed upstairs for dinner. The food was prepared by Spilled Milk Catering, and was delicious! Sugar Bakers made an amazing cake, and DJ Kelton Higgins spun the tunes once dinner was finished.
