Red & White Engagement Session at the John Paul II Shrine in DC

Back in November, we met up with these two at the Pope John Paul II Shrine in Washington DC for an engagement session in anticipation of a fast approaching wedding. The JPII Shrine is not open to the public for this kind of thing, but since the location is so especially meaningful to this couple, some strings were pulled and we were given the green light.

The location is absolutely stunning, formerly a cultural center, it has a lot of smooth stone, and some brutalist elements. And, most importantly, as the sun dips lower, it comes with a ton of big, bright, soft light. The surrounding property is also immaculately maintained and serene.
