I recently had the chance to photograph Jen and Alex at the Bel Air Mansion in Bowie to celebrate their 5 year wedding anniversary. It was a bit chilly on the December afternoon we chose, but the weather was manageable and the sunset was absolutely beautiful. As the sun began to set, the clouds seemed to catch on fire and it made for some really stunning shots there at the end.
One of the things that really stood out to me about Jen and Alex was their unique style. Jen has beautiful, super long hair and both of them really complement each other in their fashion choices. It was clear to me that they have a strong bond and are a perfect match.
The reason for the portrait session was to capture some special photos for their parents as gifts. Jen and Alex didn’t have many photos taken during their wedding, so they thought it would be nice to have some new, professional portraits to mark their anniversary.
Overall, it was a great afternoon spent with Jen and Alex at the Bel Air Mansion. It was a delight to photograph such a stylish and loving couple in such a beautiful setting.
