This couple got married late last year, and due to some unforeseen circumstance, they had to skip their engagement session before the wedding. Given the situation, we decided together that we could meet back up after the wedding for some follow up portraits. That day finally came a month or so ago!
The wedding, back in October, was this beautifully designed backyard affair, with the ceremony taking place under a pagoda that the groom built himself, and the reception in a tent that was erected on a newly cleared plot of their land (thanks to tornado that came through). So, given some big news they wanted to share with friends and family (and that we’ve omitted from these images we’re sharing here), we decided to revisit the homestead where they were just recently married.
We had a wonderful time walking around their beautiful natural property and avoiding the harsh mid-day sun for some really stellar follow up photos. Check out some of our favorites below!
